Hailey Bieber Sizzles In Green Silk Lingerie For New Victoria’s Secret

For those who are curious, Justin Bieber stated in 2010 that "purple" was his favorite color, but his opinion may have changed after seeing the photos Hailey Bieber shared on Friday (July 29). Hailey, 25, posed in a new Victoria's Secret collection in photos she "shot at home," keeping her brunette hair loose and down to her shoulders while leaning seductively against a wall.

"Shift out of neutral and into the bold, jewel-tone shades from the latest fall collection," Victoria's Secret captioned the photo of Hailey when it posted it to its Instagram page. Hailey's fans showered her with love in the comments section. "I adore it, sis. Always beautiful. "You're always looking fly," R.M. observed. Drake. Tess Annique Souray wrote, "Angel face," and Priscilla Valles said, "wowwwww." Olivia Culpo added a "hearts for eyes" emoji.

Victoria's Secret released photos of Hailey wearing some of their sultry offerings in the middle of the month. Justin's wife was dressed in a white Push-Up Perfect Shapebra, a white thong, and thick, high white socks. The look was inspired by the new T-Shirt Bra Collection, which emphasized the marriage of comfort and fashion.

Hailey's recent green lingerie shoot came less than two weeks after she was photographed in another green ensemble. The model wore a skintight yellow-green dress with a corset bodice, spaghetti straps, and a plunging neckline in the photos she shared on July 18. She captioned the gallery, "Love an avocado moment."

Hailey was dressed more casually when she sat down with Gwyneth Paltrow for the latest episode of Gwyneth's Who's In My Bathroom? Series on YouTube During the interview, Gwyneth, 49, joked about possibly hooking up with Hailey's father, Stephen Baldwin, while working on Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle in 1994. Hailey had no idea the Goop founder worked with Stephen, 56, and was relieved to learn they got along.

"I enjoy hearing that. Consider the following scenario: you have a horror story. 'He was awful! Working with him was a nightmare! '" Hailey said. "That would be terrible. Or what if I f—- your dad in the bathroom? " Gwyneth said, quickly adding that she and Stephen kept things professional. "That's good to know, okay?" " Hailey explained.

Why Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Are Co-Parenting Better While Pete Davidson’s Away

Although Kim Kardashian, 41, misses her boyfriend Pete Davidson, 28, who is currently filming a movie in Australia, Kim's ex-husband Kanye West, 45, does not! Indeed, a source close to the SKIMS founder told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that Pete's three-month stint in Australia has greatly improved Kanye's ability to co-parent the three children he shares with Kim — North, 9, Saint, 6. Psalm 3 and Chicago 4

"Kim and Kanye are co-parenting amicably now, and it has everything to do with Pete being away in Australia," a source said. "Kanye is currently living at his Malibu home and spending a lot of time with the kids." He's been over to Kim's house several times for dinner with the kids, and he feels safe coming over because Pete isn't there. Kanye told Kim that he wishes Pete would stay in Australia, but he has apparently accepted their relationship because it is not in his face at the moment."

Kanye caused a lot of drama with Pete after Kim started dating him in October 2021, blaming the former SNL comedian for ruining his marriage to Kim. Kim, on the other hand, filed for divorce from Kanye long before she began dating Pete. Fortunately, this has changed, as has Kim's relationship with her ex-husband. "Kim has warmed back up to him because he hasn't started any drama and has been peaceful." "Everyone in the family appreciates this because it is critical that the children do not have parents who are at odds," the source said.

According to a separate source, even though things have improved, he has not fully recovered from the fact that their marriage is over! "Things are good between Kanye and Kim right now," the source said, adding, "the only problem is that when they're getting along, it does make it harder for Kanye to completely accept that things are truly over for good." He hasn't let go of his dream of one day reconciling with Kim, which is unfortunate because she's over it. She tries her hardest to be sensitive to him while also maintaining clear boundaries; it's a balancing act, but things are going well for the time being."

Ariana Grande Claps Back After She’s Accused Of Abandoning Music Career For Beauty Brand

Ariana Grande is firing back at fans who claim she abandoned her music career to focus on her R.E.M. Beauty line! The comments were left on a TikTok video posted by the singer, 29, on July 28 ahead of the launch of the brand's fourth major product, the Sweetener Concealer, which comes in 60 shades. "Pls remember you're a singer," one person commented, and Ari certainly hasn't forgotten, clapping back, "I have actually never felt more at home in my voice or like more of a singer," with four bubble emojis and a smiley face.

Another fan wrote, "We really love you Ari, but could you please start singing again?" with crying emojis. When someone else wrote, "Love u so much," the "7 rings" songstress didn't bother replying, but she did say, "Love all most/always" with a fairy emoji. Other fans were quick to defend their queen, writing, "Leave her alone lmao not every video has to have people reminding her she's not makin music."

It hasn't been that song since the GRAMMY winner released music: in 2020, she released the R&B-themed Positions, which included the single of the same name as well as the cheeky "34+35." (which adds up to the number 69). "POV" was the last single to be released in April 2021. Prior to Positions, the Boca Raton native released two albums in less than a year: Sweetener in 2018, followed by Thank U, Next, which arguably featured her most popular songs to date.

Ariana is also a successful actress, having appeared on So Victorious and Sam & Cat as a teen before breaking out as a solo singer in 2014. She recently announced her return to acting, landing the lead role of Glinda in Jon Chu's film adaptation of the musical Wicked. "The truth is I have not begun an album," she admitted on YouTube last May, adding, "My hands are quite full with a lot of other thrilling work at the moment," presumably referring to the film, which also stars Cynthia Erivo.

Ari revealed in her latest beauty release that she's been using her own concealer for a year. "I've been using it in secret for a year. It's also our first product to include our R.E.M. essence, hyaluronic acid, and raspberry leaf extract," she said in the TikTok video, which also included a demonstration. "I like knowing that while I'm waiting, it's hydrating and nourishing my skin." A small amount goes a long way. "The coverage is outstanding."

Marvel faces its next major challenge as it attempts to complete a Phase

The concept of a Marvel Cinematic Universe has given its films an operatic flavor from the start, with the interlocking template larger than any single title or character. To borrow a phrase from another Disney franchise, the studio's formal unveiling of new "phases" of its grand plans at Comic-Con highlighted how the challenge of connecting multiple movies into one sprawling organism could have become a trap.

XEM THÊM :
Mách bạn mẹo chơi bài xì dách luôn thắng hay nhất

Marvel worked tirelessly toward "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Endgame," delivering a massive two-part, five-hour-plus, every-hero-imaginable Thanos saga conclusion in 2019. The end result was a massive commercial success, saying goodbye to a pair of iconic characters who helped launch this series of films.

What else could the studio do for an encore? The latest chapter in Marvel's cinematic march, Phase 4, was intended to address this, serving as a multi-movie palate cleanser while resetting the table by introducing new characters and capitalizing on existing ones.

Three significant events followed "Endgame," two beyond anyone's control and one above Marvel's pay grade: a global pandemic that threw the entire movie industry for a loop; the tragic death of "Black Panther" star Chadwick Boseman; and the late-2019 launch of Disney+, a streaming service that became another very hungry mouth to feed as a major priority for Marvel parent Disney.

As stunning as the "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" footage shown at Comic-Con looked, losing Boseman created a no-good-answers dilemma for the sequel, clouding the future of a franchise that appeared poised to be a major linchpin of Marvel's plans after the first film.

Meanwhile, the pandemic disrupted studio schedules, making it difficult to evaluate the box-office performances of "Black Widow," "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings," and "Eternals," as well as the impact they may have had.

Finally, buoyed by its enviable film track record, Marvel not only aggressively supplied Disney+ with original shows but chose to treat them as further extensions of its universe, which added to the logistical challenges.

The flood of Disney+ series has, in the best-case scenario, provided a way to tease specific characters – such as the next "Captain America" film or the introduction of the villainous Kang (Jonathan Majors) in "Loki" – and, in the worst-case scenario, further stretched the Marvel brand at the risk of diluting it.
Whatever the impact of the second and third factors, Phase 4 has been a mixed bag in terms of creativity, as evidenced by the lukewarm reception to "Eternals," which introduced lesser-known characters (although, like Shang-Chi, they've been around in the comics since the 1970s), and "Thor: Love and Thunder," the latest sequel featuring one of the original Avengers.
The Phase 5 movies and the teaser for Phase 6 show that Marvel is eager to restore the epic scope associated with the story that culminated in "Endgame."
The fact that Marvel dominated trending topics and eclipsed other high-profile commodities at Comic-Con demonstrates the company's enduring strength. Even a less mortal Marvel is holding an extremely powerful and enviable hand.
Nonetheless, there's something to be said for concentrating on individual titles rather than their place in the larger MCU. Beyond the sequels and cameos that they can do in the films that follow, just getting the Fantastic Four right seems like a formidable goal.

It's also worth noting that the comic books Marvel has relied on for inspiration regularly produce world-threatening threats. Movies take a few years to make, so each film already faces the daunting task of hatching a plot worthy of that weight.
Marvel's success has owed much to the fact that its films are viewed as events by fans, and the interconnectedness of its universe has undoubtedly contributed significantly to that dynamic.
But, as is so often the case in Hollywood, a blessing can become a burden. For the time being, the studio would be best served by delivering some truly satisfying films and letting the rest of the equation fall into place.
If you succeed, we might look back in 2025 and say that Marvel was just going through a phase.

Skating legend Tony Hawk takes on the world of fingerboarding with Hot Wheels Skate

Tony Hawk, the legendary skateboarder, has announced a partnership with Hot Wheels that will bring a new toy to market and help expand access to community skate parks.

Hot Wheels Skate is a line of "fingerboards," which are mini skateboards that can be used to simulate skateboarding tricks with the middle and index fingers. Lance Mountain, a professional skateboarder, popularized the toys in the 1980s.

XEM THÊM :

Tony Hawk fingerboards and matching playsets with ramps and other skate park elements will be exclusively available at Walmart. For beginners, the sets include clip-on "skate shoes" that clip to the boards, making them simple to use for children of all ages.

Hawk, 54, told CNN that he is most excited about the line's suitability for fingerboarders of all skill levels.

"I liked the direction they took because it was more for people of all skill levels," he said. "Also, their creative team is so amazing; their playsets are really fun and irreverent, and it just seemed like a really cool angle and take on fingerboarding in general."

The beginner-friendly ethos of the fingerboard sets stems from the inclusivity skateboarding represents in general, according to Hawk.

"I think skateboarding is a great equalizer," he says. "And anyone is welcome to join; you're only judged on your skating, not your background, and uniqueness is important — uniqueness is welcome."

As part of the collaboration, Hot Wheels announced a donation to The Skate Park Project, a non-profit organization founded by Hawk to build public skateparks across the United States.

He describes the organization as "important to me because I grew up near one of the last skate parks in the United States." "That was my home away from home, where I found my sense of community, my friends, my sense of identity, and it never occurred to me how fortunate I was to have that."

"And so when I had some sort of success, I thought the best thing I can do with that is to provide more of these places that meant so much to me as a kid," he went on. "It's more about creating a place for your community than it is about raising professionals."

Hawk retired from professional skateboarding in 2003, but he has remained a staunch supporter of the sport, helping to transform it from a fringe activity to a defined and rigorous sport with prestigious competitions. The sport will even make its Olympic debut in 2021, which Hawk says has helped show people how "disciplined and serious it can be."

This year, Hawk will host the second annual Vert Alert, a competition designed to highlight the "underappreciated" challenges of vertical skating – skating up a steep ramp or incline rather than on the street or in a skate park.

Shania Twain's journey from a violent household to 'liberation' is traced in 'Not Just A Girl' documentary on Netflix

Shania Twain's new documentary "Not Just A Girl," which will be available on Netflix on July 26, shows fans everything.

The legendary singer claims that music saved her from a violent father in Timmins, Ontario, but that her mother fully supported her dreams, taking her to local bars to sing while her father was sleeping.

"Growing up in a violent household was horrible," Twain says, "but I locked myself away with music to block out everything else so that all I could see, hear, think, and imagine was music." "It was probably hearing my mother say, 'You can make it, you're going to make it,' and I felt like if I made it, it would save us somehow, and it was more of a responsibility to be a performer, to do it as a career."

Twain's parents were killed in a car accident in 1987. She signed her first recording contract in 1992, and she claims that once she started making music videos, she felt more creatively in control.

"That was the creative moment that I grabbed onto, and it was

Twain also admits that she thought she'd never be able to sing again after contracting Lyme disease.

"My symptoms were quite frightening because, prior to being diagnosed, I was on stage, very dizzy, losing my balance, and afraid I was going to fall off the stage," she explained. "I was having...millisecond blackouts, but on a regular basis, every minute or every 30 seconds, and my voice was never the same again, just this strange flanging, lack of control... I thought I'd lost my voice forever, that that was it, I'd never, ever sing again."

She discovered her husband, music producer and songwriter Mutt Lange, was having an affair while battling the effects of Lyme disease.

"I was facing a divorce, my husband leaves me for another woman," Twain explained, adding, "Now I'm at a whole other low and I just don't see any point in going on with a music career."

"When I lost Mutt, I guess I thought, I was thinking that the grief was similar to losing my parents and it was like death,...a permanent end to so many facets of my life, and I never got over my parents' death, so I'm thinking, s**t, I'm never going to get over this... So all I can do is determine how I'm going to carry on from there," she continued.

Meanwhile, Twain had established himself as a feminist icon with hits such as "That Don't Impress Me Much" and "Man! I Feel Like A Woman."

"At the time," Twain explained, "I just enjoyed singing with attitude, singing about being a strong woman." "It's just part of my personality, it really is my genuine personality; I have a point of view, I want to get it across, I expect to get it across, but I'm not out to annoy anyone."

Adele announces new dates for her Las Vegas residency

Adele is coming back to Las Vegas.

After postponing her concert residency at Caesars Palace's The Colosseum a day before it was scheduled to begin in January, the singer announced on Monday that she has officially rescheduled her shows.

"Words cannot express how thrilled I am to finally be able to announce these rescheduled shows; I was heartbroken to have to cancel them," the Grammy winner said on Instagram. "But after what seems like an eternity of figuring out logistics for the show I really want to deliver, and knowing it can happen, I'm more excited than ever!" "I know for some of you, it was a terrible decision on my part, and I will always be sorry for that, but I promise you it was the right one."

Her performances will now take place from November 18 to March 23. Adele's website states that in addition to the 24 rescheduled shows, she has added eight new dates. According to her website, those who had tickets to the canceled shows will be given priority.

When she first postponed her shows, Adele shared a tearful video on Instagram in which she explained the difficulties she and her crew faced while preparing for the residency.

"I'm so sorry," she said at the time, "but my show isn't ready." "Half my crew, half my team, is still down with Covid, and it's made it impossible to finish the show, and I can't give you what I have right now, and I'm gutted."

Talking dog parenting with Chris Evans

The Internet is crazy about him. His amusing grin. His soulful, large eyes. The fact that he never has a bad photo angle.
His owner is also actor Chris Evans, which makes the pair's Instagram selfies ten times more "likeable."
Dodger, named after a character in the film "Oliver & Company," is a boxer-mix that the Marvel star adopted in 2015. Dodger, one half of a "pair of dysfunctional codependents," has at least as many fans as his famous owner, who this week announced a partnership with dog food company Jinx in a move that's right on-brand for Evans, one of Hollywood's most prolific dog dads.

XEM THÊM :
Hướng dẫn cách chơi xì dách nhanh ăn hiệu quả dành cho game thủ

Evans discusses how Dodger inspired his new business venture, which will have him playing "an active role in the business and creative direction of the brand," according to a press release, and the humbling pleasures of pet parenting in an interview with CNN.

For clarity, this interview has been condensed and lightly edited.

On Wednesday, Chris Evans announced his collaboration with the dog food company Jinx.
I'm a dog mom, so I wanted to ask you about your experience as a dog dad and what inspired you to get involved with a company like this.

I mean, we're always looking for new collaborations and ways to expand and have fun creatively outside of acting. I'd been giving Dodger the Jinx treats for a while, and he loved them, until my business manager approached me with this opportunity. When you sit down with the company and get to know the people, it's so nice to meet people who share a common passion and who seem to be doing something good in the world and actually helping. On top of that, it's a fantastic product. It's a simple thing to support. This made complete sense to me.

What has fascinated me since we got our dog a little over a year ago is the incredible responsibility I feel for her well-being and health, and how her well-being affects my mood as well. Tell me about your own pet-parenting experience.
It's one of the most difficult things. My previous dog, prior to Dodger, had a lot of problems. Because he was an American Bulldog, he had a lot of allergies and eye problems. And, you know, they can't tell you how they feel, which is the most difficult part. So making sure you're at least starting with a good nutrition foundation is a good first step. It is extremely important.

Beyoncé fans upset about reported leak of 'Renaissance' album

Beyoncé's new album has the Hive buzzing, but not in a good way.

On Wednesday, some of her ardent fans took to social media to express their displeasure with reported leaks and early sales of "Renaissance," pleading with people not to listen or share.

According to Variety, "high-quality flac files that unmistakably sound like the album" were made available on the internet two days before the release of the new project.

Screen shots of flac files that appeared to be from the album were also making the rounds on social media, as were tweets from people who shared photos and claimed to have discovered the album on sale early in Europe.

CNN has not confirmed that the files belong to Beyoncé's most recent project.

Since the release of the first single, "Break My Soul," in June, the singer's new album has been the subject of much speculation.

Days later, she revealed details about her first full-length album since 2016's "Lemonade."

"Creating this album gave me a place to dream and find escape during a frightening time for the world," Beyoncé wrote in a caption on her verified Instagram account. "It allowed me to feel free and adventurous at a time when little else was moving." "My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, and feel freedom."

Her album "4" leaked three weeks before its scheduled June 28 release date in 2011. She surprised fans two years later with the release of her self-titled album.

CNN has reached out to Beyoncé's and Columbia Records representatives for comment.

Shawn Mendes cancels the rest of his tour citing mental health challenges

Shawn Mendes, the pop singer, has canceled the remainder of his tour, just weeks after he postponed concert dates to address his mental health.

The Grammy nominee "wasn't completely prepared for the toll that being back on the road would take on (him)" and decided to cancel the tour after consulting with "an incredible group of health professionals," he said in a statement posted on his social media accounts.

XEM THÊM :
Hướng dẫn cách chơi xì dách dành cho tân binh

"I started this tour excited to finally get back to playing live after a long break due to the pandemic," he said. "However, the reality is that I was not at all prepared for how difficult touring would be after this time away." "It's become clear that I need to take the time I've never taken before."

Mendes has already performed in Sacramento, California, as well as cities throughout Canada. However, following the initial run of shows, Mendes informed fans earlier this month in a now-deleted post that he would be taking a break from the tour to address mental health concerns.

The Canadian-born performer has been open with his fans about his health issues. He tweeted a screenshot of an iPhone Note he'd written in April, saying he frequently "feels like he's either flying or drowning."
"Sometimes I don't really care what other people think and I feel free," he wrote. "Most of the time [sic], it's a struggle."

In November, Mendes announced his split from singer and "Seorita" duet partner Camila Cabello. Mendes told SiriusXM's "Morning Mashup" a few months after their split that he was "giving (himself) a lot of grace" to heal from the breakup. He also told his Instagram followers in March that he was lonely after their divorce.

The best upcoming new TV shows we can’t wait to watch

We may have had to say goodbye to Stranger Things for another year, but the good news is that the second half of 2022 will see the release of some stunning new TV shows.
And when we say "new," we really mean it. All of the shows listed below are premiering on their respective streaming services.
We've decided not to include any TV shows that are getting new seasons, instead focusing on those that are debuting this year.
From serial killer dramas to dragons, Harfoots to wizards, here are ten upcoming television shows that we can't wait to see...

XEM THÊM :

The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power

The most expensive show ever made (Amazon has thrown billions at it) is based on the Lord of the Rings books' supplementary material. To avoid having to use any of the main LOTR characters, Amazon has wisely set this one thousands of years before the events of the books. Morfydd Clark leads a large cast that includes Lenny Henry and Peter Mullan. Elves, evil, and Harfoots are to be expected (the predecessors to Hobbits).

Release date: September 2nd

House Of The Dragon

This Game of Thrones prequel (based on George RR Martin's sprawling Fire & Blood series) is set approximately 200 years before the events of GoT and focuses on the warring factions in The House of Targaryen. The show stars Matt Smith, Emma D'Arcy, and Paddy Considine. HBO will be hoping that it has another mega-hit on its hands. We're hoping for a successful conclusion.

The release date is August 21st.

Sandman

Netflix is bringing one of the greatest graphic novels of all time to the small screen. Neil Gaiman and Blade's David S Goyer are both involved. Sandman is a complex entity, filled with stories about stories, about a wizard, the personification of dreams, who comes out of prison and tries to right a world that has been wronged since he was imprisoned. It has been deemed unfilmable by many. Dream is played by Tom Sturridge.
Lucifer is played by Gwendoline Christie, and Johanna Constantine is played by Jenna Coleman.

5 August is the release date.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law

Marvel has recently used its TV shows to broaden its palette, with lesser-known superheroes such as Ms Marvel and Moon Knight running wild. She-Hulk is the latest superhero to be adapted for the small screen, and based on the first trailer, it appears to be a cross between Ally McBeal and, well, The Incredible Hulk. While it hasn't been confirmed, it appears that this one will be based on Dan Slott's comic-book series, which is bloody hilarious and focuses on the bizarre legal issues that the MCU raises. Tatiana Maslany plays the green-skinned Jennifer Walters, and Jameela Jamil plays Titania. Oh, and Mark Ruffalo makes an appearance or two.

The release date is August 17th.

Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet Of Curiosities

Guillermo del Toro is a master of horror and fantasy filmmaking, making him the ideal director for a Netflix anthology series dedicated to challenging the conventions of the genres he adores. He directs one episode, with the other episodes directed by a variety of fantastic filmmakers, including Ana Lily Amirpour, Jennifer Kent, and Panos Cosmatos. This one will give you a lot of nightmares.

October is the release date (TBC)

The Patient

We are big fans of The Americans, so when we heard that the showrunners Joel Fields and Joseph Weisberg were working on a new show, we let out a little squeal. This one is about a psychotherapist (Steve Carrell) who recently lost his wife and is being held captive by a serial killer (Domhnall Gleeson) who wants him to stop having suicidal thoughts.

The release date is August 30th.

The Midnight Club

For this adaptation of The Midnight Club books, Mike Flanagan collaborated with Leah Fong. It's based on Christopher Pike's YA novel about a group of terminally ill teenagers who meet up at midnight to tell each other scary stories. Strange things begin to happen when one of them dies. We have high hopes for this one, given his previous success adapting works by Stephen King, Edgar Allen Poe, and Shirley Jackson.

The best Amazon Prime series (July 2022): ranked list of the best Prime Video TV shows

This list of the best Amazon Prime Series is a snapshot of what is currently available on Prime. It was difficult to pick favorites, but the following shows are gilded in our eyes - gold standard television that should be binge-watched right away.
The following examples demonstrate that an Amazon Prime subscription is well worth the money. It gets you a lot more than just fast delivery, but access to Prime Video is arguably the best benefit of your Prime subscription. We'd get one just to have access to the huge library of movies and TV shows, as evidenced by this list of the best Prime Video shows.

Best Amazon Prime Original Series

The Marvelous Miss Maisel

It was about time for Rachel Brosnahan to shine on a show. The Marvelous Miss Maisel sees her in fantastic form as a 1950s housewife who decides to one day become a stand-up comic after bit parts in movies and a stint on House of Cards. There's a lot to like about the show, but Brosnahan's main performance as 'Midge' Maisel steals the show - her transformation when she finally gets on stage is incredible to watch.

Vikings

On the surface, Vikings appears to be a one-dimensional show: an entire show based on the pillaging, conquering, and brutal world of Viking Ragnar Lothbrok. But this isn't Game of Thrones on a shoestring. The character development in the first three seasons is superb, and Vikings tells a simple story extremely well, even up to season six.

Mr. Robot

It may seem trite to heap more praise on a show that is almost universally adored, but the thing is (with a wry smile to the camera), they're right. Phoebe Waller-adaptation Bridge's of her own one-woman stage show is simultaneously stunningly crass, utterly hilarious, and tear-jerking. Yes, Waller-Bridges is perfect as Fleabag, but the rest of the cast is equally as good, with characters that have been rounded out with surgical precision.

The Man In The High Castle

The Man in the High Castle was one of the first Prime Video Originals, lasting four seasons and ending at the end of 2019. It's a fantastic-looking show based on Philip K. Dick's novel about a parallel universe in which the Nazis win and the consequences for the world. The show deviates from the book by the end, but it's well worth the effort.

Invincible

With this existential look at superheroes and what their powers do to relationships, Robert Kirkman has done it again. Mark Grayson is the son of Omni-Man, the world's most powerful superhero. Grayson, now 17, is poised to follow in his father's footsteps as he develops special abilities, but all is not as it appears.

The Patriot

It's not a show about Mel Gibson's big-screen vehicle, but rather a darkly comic show about a spy tasked with preventing Iran from going nuclear. Unfortunately, there are only two seasons because Amazon cancelled it, but they are a refreshing watch, balancing fun and frenetic action, and, to be honest, we'd watch RoboCop's Kurtwood Smith in anything.

The Exorcist (film)

We are as surprised as you are that The Exorcist show is good, but it is. Each season tells a different exorcism story, taking cues from the William Peter Blatty novel but reimagining it for a modern audience. The first season is the most similar to the novel (in terms of the characters in the series), but both seasons are equally fantastic and full of chills.

Undone

Following the success of Netflix's Bojack Horseman, creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg moved to Amazon for Undone, an animated show that employs rotoscoping to achieve its distinct look. Undone explores some of the same themes as Bojack, albeit in a much more dramatic manner; its trippy visuals lend the film an unreal feel, and it stars Bob Odenkirk, Daveed Diggs, and Rosa Salazar.

The second season of Undone is now available on Netflix and is just as bizarre as the first. This show is shaping up to be one of the best Amazon Prime series available.

Too Old To Die Young

His foray into television is as superb as it is brutal, despite his reputation for ultraviolent films such as Drive and Only God Forgives. Although Refn prefers to think of Too Old To Die Young as an extended film, it's been divided into 12 manageable 'episodes,' following a cop played by Miles Teller on a revenge spree, ridding the world of some very unsavoury characters. This is uncompromising, unflinching entertainment at its finest.

The best hip-hop albums of all time have been revealed to be classic hip-hop albums.

It's the ideal time to honor the greatest hip hop and rap albums of all time. Hip hop will celebrate its 50th birthday next year. Clive Campbell, also known as DJ Kool Herc, hosted a birthday party in the recreation room of an apartment building at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue in the west Bronx, New York City.
Today, it is home to some of the world's most vital and culturally relevant music.

Top hip hop albums

Eminem - The Marshal Mathers LP

Year: 2000

For eons, the idea of a credible white rapper was a farce, aided by Vanilla Ice. All of that changed with the arrival of Eminem. A confrontational, provocative, and sardonic wordsmith - and another Dr. Dre protégé - he released three classic albums in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The Marshal Mathers LP, released in the middle, best captured the band's witty, irreverent, and rebellious spirit.

The Real Slim Shady is the main track.

Kanye West - The College Dropout

Year: 2004

Kanye West is known today for his bizarre celebrity lifestyle as much as his music (which, by the way, still rocks), but a decade ago, West was a serious underground hip hop icon. West's true calling was rapping himself, having given Jay-Z new life with his production work on The Blueprint. With the release of The College Dropout, any doubts about his ability to match his Roc-a-Fella boss were quickly dispelled. It set in motion the merry-go-round that West still expertly deals in today, a vivacious album dripping in hooks and cheeky raps.

Through The Wire is a key track.

Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt

Year: 1996

Jay-Z is the most well-known active hip hop artist today. In 1996, he was just another aspiring rapper who had led a hardscrabble life on the streets of New York. This hustle was the foundation of his fantastic debut set. It was a stunning combination of frontline reportage and frankly ice cool rhymes, featuring Can't Knock The Hustle, Brooklyn's Finest, and Dead Presidents II. A new star had emerged.

Dead Presidents II is a standout track.

Scarface - The Fix

Year: 2002

Few musicians release their seminal work seven albums in. Even less so in the fast-paced world of hip hop, where youthful bravado always triumphs over maturity. Scarface, on the other hand, is unique. As a businessman and a recording artist, he understands his audience and can give them what they want. And The Fix is a prime example of this. From start to finish, it's a high-octane ride into the rags'n'riches lifestyle of hip hop hustlers.

In Cold Blood is a key track.

Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele

Ghostface Killah's sophomore effort is an absolute wonder after proving to the world that he was one of the best lyricists and rappers around with his marvelous verses on 36 Chambers, Only Built For Cuban Lynx, and his debut Iron Man. Ghostface effortlessly weaves grit and candor, stupidity and absurdity into his tracks, delivering a gold-gilded hip-hop album that is still relevant today. I just called Malcolm to let him know.

Beastie Boys - Paul’s Boutique

Year: 1989

Although Licensed To Ill introduced the world to the Beastie Boys, the group was routinely dismissed as brattish frat rappers after its release. Paul's Boutique, released nearly three years ago, proved otherwise, demonstrating that Mike D, Ad-Rock, and MCA possessed the necessary skills. It was criminally ignored upon its initial release, most likely because it wasn't Licensed To Ill Part 2; however, it is now recognized for what it is: a multi-layered hip hop masterpiece.

Shake Your Rump is the main track.

Netflix has revealed that it is planning to charge for password sharing: this is where it will take place.

Netflix has long ignored password sharing on the site, but it is now experimenting with new ways to monetize those who share their password.

A new trial in Argentina, which will undoubtedly be expanded to other countries, sees a new prompt appear when you use your Netflix account outside of your household - on a TV or TV-connected device - for more than two weeks.

XEM THÊM :
Chính sách bảo mật

An extra home using your password in the country will cost an extra 219 pesos per month (around US $1.17) and $2.99 outside the country, according to Bloomberg.

There is also a support page that goes into greater detail:

"Beginning August 22, 2022, when you sign in to Netflix on a TV outside your home, you will see the option to add the extra home for a monthly fee."

"If you will only be using this TV for a short period of time, you can watch Netflix for up to two weeks at no additional cost as long as your account has not previously been used in that location." Unless you add the extra home, the TV will be blocked after that time."

Netflix has been looking for ways to recoup cash after seeing its fortunes plummet since the entry of streaming services such as Disney Plus and Apple TV.

It revealed in April that freeloaders 'piggybacking' on other people's passwords was one of the main reasons it was losing subscribers. It is estimated that 100 million people watch Netflix this way.

It was pretty clear that this was the next area where Netflix would crack down, as well as consider offering an ad-supported tier to attract those who thought a Netflix subscription was too expensive right now.

Purchasing passwords

"Over the last 15 years, we've worked hard to build a streaming service that's easy to use, including for people who travel or live together," Netflix writes in an official blog post. "It's great that our members love Netflix movies and TV shows so much that they want to share them more broadly."

"However, today's widespread household account sharing undermines our long-term ability to invest in and improve our service." So we've been looking into different ways for people who want to share their account to pay a little bit more."

The password sharing crackdown is currently taking place in Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala; Netflix will notify these members via email about the changes.

These are the Netflix codes required to access the service.

The Gray Man

The Gray Man is a star-studded thriller about warring assassins, which stars Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling and has been written and directed by the crew behind Avengers: Endgame. It should be more fun than it is but, given the money spent on the film (some $200m), it looks fantastic. Netflix will be hoping that this is one movie of many, aiming to create a franchise out of the story.

Truth And Lies: The Last Gangster

While this one was previously available on Hulu, The Last Gangster has now arrived in the UK, courtesy of Disney Plus, and is a riveting documentary that provides a rare look behind the scenes of the mafia in the United States. Sammy "The Bull" Gravano, a real-life former hitman, explains the inner workings of The Gambino family and the cost of being in the mafia on him and others.

The Last Movie Stars

Ethan Hawke directs this fascinating documentary about Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, a rare Hollywood power couple who stayed together for 50 years until Newman's death.

Hawke's documentary is a six-part look at the couple and their time in Hollywood, using archival footage, interviews (over Zoom, which dates this as a pandemic creation), and clips from Newman and Woodward's numerous films.

The most fascinating aspect of this is that Hawke has the transcripts of what was supposed to be Newman's autobiography - and he gets his Hollywood friends, including George Clooney, to 'act out' the action from these scripts. It makes for an intimate documentary, and Hawke is open about admitting that he is figuring it out as he goes along, which adds to the intrigue.

Victoria's Secret: Angels and Demons

Another damning expose of what was once one of America's most prestigious brands (see also the recent documentary White Hot, which is all about Abercrombie & Fitch's rise and fall), and this one is difficult to watch. With Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Jean-Luc Brunel among those mentioned, this is a gruesome look at what happens to women in a billion-dollar industry that is almost entirely run by men.

Resident Evil

We weren't expecting to enjoy this one as much as we did, but the new Resident Evil TV series manages to pack enough gore and cliffhangers into its episodes that you'll want more. The plot tries to stay true to the video games, with the ever-excellent Lance Reddick playing The Umbrella Corporation's Dr Albert Wesker. We see action in both 2022 and 2036, depicting the aftermath and events leading up to a zombie outbreak in Raccoon City. While it's a bit of a mess in places, there's still plenty of fun to be had.

Best horror short stories that you can read for free

By PAUL TREMBLAY

This is an exclusive Shortlist compiled by award-winning horror writer Paul Tremblay of his top five short horror stories of all time.

Tremblay is well aware of his terror. He is not only the author of several best-selling novels, including The Cabin at the End of the World and A Head Full of Ghosts, but he is also a fan of Stephen King and a jury member for the Shirley Jackson Awards.

XEM THÊM:
Cách chơi baccarat trực tuyến trên sàn baccarat miễn phí?

Here’s Paul's choice of scary stories, in his own words.
Many of us first encounter the horror story in its shortened form. A teacher may have assigned you to read Edgar Allen Poe's The Telltale Heart or Shirley Jackson's The Lottery as a child, or a ghost story with a title you can't remember, but you'll never forget how it made you feel.

Perhaps your first horror story was told to you by an older sibling or a childhood friend about the creepy abandoned house one block away, or a story about why you shouldn't go to the basement alone, or how you should avoid that wooded area at night, or don't walk too close to the mist-covered brackish pond.

The horror short story can be a quick shock, a toothy twist, or a slow build to a moment of ineffable unease. My favorite short stories, the ones I return to again and again, linger far beyond their page count. Their truths are no less magnificent, awe-inspiring, or terrifying.

Because those stories are lenses through which we see dangerous glimpses of our predatory universe, they become embedded in your subconscious. They reveal who we are, who we are not, and, for better or worse, who we can become.

The five stories below will show you a lot. I guarantee it.

Best short horror stories

1. Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been, Joyce Carol Oates?

This story was read in one of the last classes I ever took in college, and it helped transform me from a math major to a reader and writer. On the surface, it's a story about a creepy older guy (though we don't know how much older he is because he's described as a 'forty year old baby') attempting to persuade a teenage girl to go for a car ride with him. The sweet talk alternates between being playful and threatening. The brilliantly coded bits of ambiguity and the menace of possibility are what make the story one of the best of the twentieth century. A story that will set your heart and mind racing.

2. Raphael, Stephen Graham Jones

A group of "outsider" kids ("we're the only ones who can see us") gather at a lake to share frightening stories. Raphael is a coming-of-age story as well as an anti-one. Growing up and discovering lies, secrets, and the horrible truth can be terrifying. There's a scene in this story that is so breathtaking in its execution and imagery that it stays in my head indefinitely. I can't unsee it, which is strange because I never saw it in the first place. That, too, is false, because Stephen showed it to me and wouldn't let me look away.

3. Peter Straub, A Short Guide To The City
I'm Sure Most Of You Are Familiar With Peter's Brilliant Novels, Such As Ghost Story, Koko, The Throat, And Lost Boy, Lost Girl. Otherwise, My Long Finger Wags At You... His Short Fictions, Some Of The Best Of Which Were Recently Collected In His Brilliant Interior Darkness, Are As Experimental As They Are Uniquely Horrifying. As The Title Suggests, A Short Guide To The City Is Written As A Guide To An Unnamed Midwestern American City, Though There Is A Serial Killer Known As "The Viaduct Killer" Lurking Around. The Story Is Vivid In Its Plot And Carefully Crafted Sentences, But It Also Reads Like A Dreamy Fairy Tale, Albeit One Of The Darkest. We Are All Responsible, And We Are The City, Which Is Compelling, Disturbing, And Unflinching.

4. Kaaron Warren, All You Can Do Is Breathe

This story is insane! After being trapped in a mine for seven days, a man is eventually rescued. While buried beneath the rubble, he has visions of a 'long man,' one who threatens to return. Kaaron's story is truly creepy, but what makes it stick with you are the ripples and aftereffects not only for Stuart, the mine collapse survivor, but also for his loved ones and the community. Kaaron's story, like so many of my favorite horror stories, begs the question, "What are you going to do now?" How do you deal with it? How are you doing? How does anyone continue?

5. Laird Barron, More Dark

Laird Barron remains the zeitgeist of dark fiction in the twenty-first century, whether we're talking about his collection of truly disturbing cosmic horror stories or the rollicking crime/horror hybrids he currently writes for Putnam. Though many have attempted or co-opted (I won't point fingers... again) Laird's style and themes, discerning readers know that no substitute is acceptable. More Dark is a cracking open and exposing of the horror genre (writers and its community). The narrator of the story travels to New York City to attend a reading by a reclusive, nihilistic writer known only as 'L.' The story is a brilliant satire until nothing is funny anymore, and, as is customary, the faithful are eaten first as their reward.
